JBO is an engineering consultancy founded in 1963 in Germany and their main area of expertise includes the design and checking of offshore wind structures. The Keystone and JBO partnership allows both companies to offer stronger proposals by providing the combined relevant industry knowledge and expertise for fixed offshore structures including monopiles, jackets, suction buckets, and gravity base. Keystone can leverage its local knowledge of the US industry while combining JBO’s significant experience of the European offshore wind industry to provide the most competitive and adaptable solutions for the US offshore wind.

Keystone and Natural Power will be able to collaboratively offer a wider range of technical services to offshore wind clients, including but not limited to: desktop review and feasibility studies, site and technology selection support, resource characterization and energy yield estimation, owner’s engineering services, front end engineering and design, lenders technical advisory services, M&A due diligence, Independent Engineering, as well as federal and state permitting support.
